1. What is the treatment approach used at AITC?
AITC utilizes a multidisciplinary approach to healthcare offering
services including chiropractic, acupuncture, physical rehabilitation,
massage therapy, and nutritional counseling. This approach
insures clinical excellence, cost effectiveness, and most
importantly, compassionate and effective pain treatment which
results in a more complete and permanent recovery.
The Staff at AITC are committed to improving their patient’s
physical-well being and quality of life in a way unique to
the area. The approach taken will be a team approach where
our patients are encouraged to be active participants in their
own care. Patient education regarding diagnosis, treatment,
and rehabilitation are essential to the treatment program.
Our mission is to provide each patient with individualized
patient care and then equip them with the tools to maximize
the treatment rendered and minimize the risk of the injury
reoccurring.

2. Once you go to a Chiropractor, do you have to go all the
time?
No. AITC doesn’t sell any types of “contracted
treatment plans”. We create individualized treatment
plans based on a patient’s condition, overall health
status and adherence to home recommendations.

3. Aren’t all Chiropractors
the same?
No. Most chiropractors are focused mainly on injuries related
to the spine using spinal manipulation only. At AITC we specialize
in management of injuries related to the spine as well as
the extremities by utilizing soft-tissue and joint manipulation/mobilization
to improve overall biomechanics.

4. Do Chiropractors refer to
other specialists?
Yes. We will refer to specialties such as neurology, orthopedics,
pain management, podiatrists, naturopathic medicine and work
with your primary care physician when appropriate.

5. What effect does a Chiropractic
manipulation have on joints?
Research indicates that manipulation can actually prevent
joint degeneration/arthritis which is caused by loss of optimal
range of motion. Manipulation restores proper motion to the
joint, decreases stress to the cartilage, surrounding tissues
and ultimately improves biomechanical function.

6. Will my insurance cover
visits to your office?
AITC is a participating provider with most major health insurance
companies including Worker’s Compensation.
We handle all the paperwork for you and our staff can assist
you in the filing of any claims. However, we do offer other
arrangements in the event your insurance company does not
have chiropractic coverage.

7. Should I have to see a chiropractor
if I have been in a car accident?
Most car accident injuries can create long-term effects even
in minor fender benders. A complete evaluation could help
identify any areas that may have been compromised as a result
of the accident. Current literature indicates that there is
better long-term prognosis when treatments are initiated after
initial onset of symptoms.
